Cladding for Seres One, a new iconic residential landmark for southwest Xian is nearing completion. LARGE architects were commissioned to design the external facade of a set of twin towers overlooking the lush green forest of Tang Chang’an Heritage Park.

This new development of luxury serviced apartments in Yan Ta District makes full use of its unique historical and geographical location. Floor to ceiling glass and roof gardens provide stunning panoramic views across the 3.7km long park that fronts the twin 107.7m high towers.

The design of the façade is a bold yet elegant fusion of dark glass and golden metallic accents, encapsulating the Seres concept which derives its name from the ancient term for silk. These striking materials combine with an uninterrupted sleek façade that reflects the changing sky and spectacular surroundings. Seres One stands out from the crowd of other residential developments, providing the ultimate in chic urban living.

The twin towers are arranged in an offset staggered arrangement to give unimpeded views and daylight while reducing overlooking into neighbouring apartments. Each of the towers provides 20 floors of luxury accommodation above a 5-storey podium which houses high-end facilities for the residents and wider community.
